Sodium chlorate(I) is the systematic IUPAC name for the compound. Wikipedia says "sodium hypochlorite" as that is the name which has been grandfathered in, but is not systematic. It's the same reason you're allowed to call propan-2-one acetone and methanal formaldehyde. You would only get the marks if you say sodium chlorate(I) .
